Indian Partner visited VOLAB, and VUV’s technical prowess has earned international recognition

Bridging great distances, a bond of friendship has been forged. A team of clients from India traveled a long way to visit VOLAB, embarking on an in-depth tour characterized by both professional excellence and genuine warmth. The delegation visited VOLAB’s Shenzhen headquarters, the Hubei R&D and manufacturing base, and a project site in Zhejiang. Through this comprehensive tour, they gained a full understanding of the company's complete VUV microwave-based waste gas treatment solutions; discussions regarding technology, quality, and practical applications fostered mutual trust, while on-site inspections deepened the partnership.

In the exhibition hall and technical exchange area of the Shenzhen headquarters, the two parties sat around and talked. The technical team explained the principles of VUV microwave pyrolysis technology in detail. This technology combines the synergy of microwave empowerment and high-energy VUV photons to complete the decomposition process by breaking the chemical bonds of pollutant molecules, converting various toxic and odorous organic waste gases into harmless substances such as water, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen. The working principle is significantly different from traditional adsorption and neutralization processes.

Key Technical Highlights

Superior Treatment Performance: Achieves a comprehensive waste gas treatment efficiency of up to 95% and meets purification requirements for a wide range of waste gas types.

Hassle-Free Operation and Maintenance: Supports automated operation without the need for dedicated personnel; offers a service life of 8–10 years under normal use, with no need for frequent consumable replacements.

Environmentally Friendly: Generates no secondary pollution—such as liquid waste, solid waste, or residual ozone—during operation; safe, reliable, and compliant with various environmental impact assessment standards.

During the chat, both parties reviewed past cooperation together. The VUV exhaust gas treatment equipment previously installed in the Indian factory has always been operating stably. The original concentration of the exhaust gas in the factory was 240PPM, and after purification by the equipment, the concentration was reduced to 0PPM. It is this reliable quality that has been with us for a long time that makes customers come from afar again to work together to promote more cooperation possibilities.

After departing Shenzhen, the delegation visited our 100,000 m² R&D and manufacturing base in Hubei. Throughout the tour, clients witnessed our 'smart manufacturing' capabilities firsthand. The facility is equipped with a European Prima Power flexible sheet metal production line; by adhering to international manufacturing standards and rigorous quality control systems, we achieve automated, precision sheet metal processing that balances high quality with production efficiency. Our fully automated coating line—spanning over 500 meters—utilizes an eco-friendly zirconium-based pretreatment process. This recyclable, low-carbon method aligns with national standards for energy conservation and emission reduction.

The main body of the VUV exhaust treatment equipment is constructed from Baowu’s thickened cold-rolled steel and finished with AkzoNobel’s anti-corrosion coating, ensuring exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion. On-site staff introduced the specifications of our flagship products:

▪ High-volume exhaust treatment equipment: Airflow capacity of 5,000–20,000 m³/h and power output of 9–18 kW; suitable for industrial applications and terminal exhaust treatment in large-scale laboratories.

▪ VUV ductless fume hood: Operating power ≤1.5 kW; requires no filter cartridges or consumables, making it an excellent choice for source-point exhaust treatment in laboratories.

From raw material selection to the final product, every step of the process reflects our commitment to craftsmanship. Clients carefully observed the production and quality inspection workflows, highly commending our comprehensive quality control system and reliable delivery capabilities.

Knowledge gained from paper is ultimately superficial; true insight comes from practical application. For the final leg of the inspection tour, the team arrived at the project site in Zhejiang.

The site involves complex, mixed-type waste gas conditions. The VUV equipment operates with full automation and is characterized by low airflow resistance and minimal operating noise. Compared to traditional treatment methods—such as water scrubbing combined with activated carbon—the VUV system offers distinct advantages: traditional methods yield limited purification results, generate significant hazardous waste, and entail high long-term maintenance costs. In contrast, the VUV equipment consumes only electricity, requires just a single initial investment for stable, long-term operation, and offers a superior overall cost-benefit profile.

Taking into account the local industrial environment and environmental protection standards in India, both parties engaged in candid dialogue and exchanged views. They held in-depth discussions on details such as equipment customization, project implementation, and after-sales service. Finding their philosophies highly aligned, they successfully reached a consensus on future cooperation.
